Delaware Diagnostic Imaging (DDI) has just added new procedures at their office. This will help avoid an unnecessary trip to the hospital for your patients.
CT or ultrasound-guided lymph node biopsy
CT or ultrasound paracentesis and thoracentesis
Ultrasound guided liver biopsy
Ultrasound guided thyroid fine needle aspiration biopsy
Breast needle biopsy
Breast cyst aspiration
Venogram
Cyst/abscess drainage
Arthrograms and intra-articular injection with steroids
Myelogram (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar)
Hysterosalpingography
Hysterosonography
DDI also offers 3D tomography mammography at no charge to the patient even if the insurance does not cover the procedure. Most radiology facilities are charging an added $50-75 for this additional radiographic component. We would like to remind you that it is significantly more cost effective to refer a patient within the United Medical Network compared to any local hospital.
